Pieology, the art and science of great custom Pizza – fast.

We recently had the pleasure of working with an awesome fast casual brand based out of Rancho Santa Margarita called Pieology. The unique brand is exploding and cropping up all over the country and after spending a day shooting in one of the newer 2.0 design locations, I understand why.

Pieology’s got it down. They’ve got an efficient streamlined production process, awesome welcoming service and a fantastic product that’s entirely customizable to the guests’ taste.

Marketing reached out to PDP recently and brought us up to Central California to produce a cross section of work that ranged from architectural to an editorial account of the process, energy, and experience of the brand. What we witnessed was an awesome energy fueled by the great customizable product. One guest, one pizza unique to that person and unlike any other.

We’re excited to be a part of the energy of Pieology and are looking forward to many more great projects in the future.

Thanks for partnering with us Pieology!

Patrick Darby Photography shoots Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles

We were really excited to get the call this Spring to work with Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles. Not familiar with Lo-Lo’s, now’s your chance to catch-up. The concept has a long and rich history here in Phoenix which started with Mrs White’s Golden Rule Cafe in the 1960’s. Mrs White’s (now in her 90’s) can still be found in her single downtown Phoenix iconic location from time to time, but has left the heavy lifting to her grandson Larry White from which has developed Lo-Lo’s and what has now become a soul food revolution here in Phoenix. With Lo’Lo’s being only a few locations deep in Arizona, they have just announced national franchise opportunities. Our muli-day photography shoot included capturing their entire menu, exterior architecturals and company portraits – all in preparation for a new menu design, website launch and announcement to being national franchising.

All the images look just as rich and delish as the food – wishing the best of luck to the Lo-Lo’s crew and thank you!
