Photography for Private Label Packaging

In addition to working with hospitality concepts we shoot a significant amount of food for packaging and specifically private label photography for grocery retail. This is a recent project captured in conjunction with Marketing By Design.

Packaging for Pacific Seafood Co.

A large part of Patrick Darby Photography not only entails food, lifestyle and architecture work for the hospitality industry but packaging also makes up a large part of the studio business. We recently connected with the Pacific Seafood Co. team out of Oregon. Pacific Seafood is one of the largest seafood companies in North America. The company launched in 1941 as a small, fresh seafood retail operation and continues to be family-owned with over 2500 employees. These recent packaging shots were captured for their Premium line. Thank you to the Pacific team for a great shoot!

Product and Food Photography for Packaging

With being a dedicated commercial food and motion studio not only do we shoot food for hospitality groups and ad agencies, we work with many corporate clients direct for their private label packaging needs. The Megaware Pro packaging shoot included a multi-day production in studio to capture 15+ shots of styled food and food prep items as well as individual product shots. All images were used for front, side and back packaging placement. A big thank you to the client and food stylists for a project well done.

Private Label Food Photography from Photographer Patrick Darby

Through the better part of 2013-2014 I had the pleasure of working on a private label project for WinCo Foods and their Design Firm. The project included a full range of private label food packaging photography from cereals to tacos and presented a wonderful opportunity for me and my team to work with some great creative and fun people. The approach was clean and consistent and ultimately yielded what we think are a great series of images that show off the brand. We’re looking forward to more of these projects in 2015.

Patrick Darby shoots Harvest Snaps at tonic photo studios

This May we received a call from our friends at Catapult to work with one of their long time design and packaging clients, Harvest Snaps. The two day shoot included a shot list of six flavors with styled individual and group shots for their Snapea Crisps and Lentil Snaps. The goal with the styling was to really promote their story of flavor, natural and simple ingredients. We had a great two days on set with the Catapult and Harvest team and are looking forward to future projects with this fun group and brand.

Food photography for packaging

Photography for packaging is a speciality I’ve enjoyed shooting throughout the years. It allows me to get to know the entire brand line in addition to the many marketing and creative teams that work so hard to get these items onto the shelves. Working with the Isagenix team has always been fun and rewarding. I’m looking forward working with the Isa team this next year as they continue to roll out new products.
