Patrick Darby Photography shoots food and architecture with the Original ChopShop Co.

Early 2014 we partnered with the Original ChopShop Co. for a fantastic food shoot which entailed capturing an array of their fresh menu items from salads, sandwiches and drinks. This February we were called back to help tell more of their brand story with a large architecture project for this growing brand. We just love these client projects, no pun intended… we enjoy sinking our teeth into the ChopShop brand. It’s that opportunity to shoot and share the entire brand experience from food, architecture, busy customer environments and merchandise.  This 3 day architecture shoot consisted of early morning to dusk productions. All three locations had their own uniqueness and vibe to them while still maintaining consistent service and great quality to their busy locations. We’re looking forward to shooting more locations as the Original ChopShop Co. continues to grow. Big thanks to the ChopShop and their management, see you soon!

Ten Days, Nine Restaurants

It’s been a very active summer for the studio with lots of travel and exciting new opportunities. That said, perhaps the most noteworthy of these opportunities was our time with Restaurants Unlimited (RUI) in Seattle and Portland. In Seattle, we shot architecture, lifestyle, and food for Palomino, Palisade, Cutters, Stanford’s, Scott’s and Stanley’s and in Portland, we produced the same for Henry’s, Portland City Grill and RUI’s newest restaurant, Prime Rib and Chocolate Cake. It goes without saying, it was a substantial undertaking to create such a large amount of content across a wide range of subject matter and over a compressed period of time. The experience allowed my team and me to fully immerse ourselves in the RUI culture and work with some great and talented chefs, creative directors, and management staff. This project stands out as one that is particularly well suited for Patrick Darby Photography as we have the expertise and resources to tackle this type of project in both its scale and diversity. I’m very proud of my team and what we were able to accomplish and appreciative of RUI for allowing us to partner with them on this great project. Seattle and Portland are such wonderful culturally rich cities and we’ll always look back on our time there with fond memories. Kincaid’s in Phoenix is our next undertaking scheduled with RUI and we’ll let you know about that one shortly after it occurs. We’re looking forward to it!

Cheers
